Set between mountain ranges and wide open plains, the Klein Karoo is a place unlike any other. The air is still, the horizons broad, and the silence deep. It has been shaped by time rather than people -- and it reveals itself slowly: in the vast nothingness of the inky-black sky at night, in the mountain peaks that prick the horizon by day, and in the crags of its rocks where flora clings.
There’s fauna too. Birds and mammals of all shapes and sizes, from impalas to zebras, buzzards and even springboks.
